Shorelines turns a contemplative lens toward the Aberlady coastline, a familiar stretch of East Lothian shore deeply tied to my personal history. Painted in oil on small wood panels and framed in oak, the works began as quick studies made to catch the atmospheric solitude of the bay in winter, its muted, moody colours and the wide emptiness of the east coast under low light.
