ARDBAN 2019

I N T R O

This was a series of works on paper, made in situ while staying in a run-down very remote cottage in Applecross. The works were exhibited at Limetree An Ealhain Gallery, in Fortwilliam, Scotland. The journey there is either a half hour walk over rough terrain on foot, or a twenty minute boat ride. This was one of the most enjoyable painting trips I’ve experienced, shared with my husband Adam, my friend Donald, and Donald’s brother Euan. I’ll dedicate this series to the memory of Euan. I hope he’s somewhere as pleasant as Ardban right now, enjoying a dram.
